Jessica has taught at UCLA, Recreational Arts Inc, and teaches private students ranging from middle school through college. She received her BA in Theater from Oberlin College, studied at the Moscow Art Theater School, the National Theater Institute, Upright Citizens Brigade, and is in her final year at UCLA for her MFA in acting. With her private students, Jessica focuses on the voice and body to reinforce clear storytelling. She offers private coaching sessions over Zoom and in person for college, graduate school, and professional auditions. She’s also excited to dig into the work after the job is booked. By taking a wholistic approach, she transforms her students into truthful story tellers with great technical

proficiency. Jessica’s goal is for her students to feel accomplished and self-assured for auditions and to feel confident in their work on set or on stage.

Jessica meets you where you are in every session. She creates a fun space where failure's not only okay, but celebrated. With an eagle-eye for text analysis, she asks insightful questions that force me to expand my analysis and think differently about a script. When prepping sides, she's thoughtful about world building in the audition room. Her patience, intuition, and insightfulness leave me feeling extremely prepared and proud of my work! - Kalyn Altmeyer
